The Groves renewed their vows this June at Atrium Village. Another couple, the Johnsons, who've been married for 67 years, renewed their vows, too.
"It's a good thing because it gives you the feeling of doing it all over again, and you might make more years," said Evelyn Bryant Johnson. "I don't know how many because I am 90."
No matter how many more years, the Johnsons and the Groves said they'll spend the rest of their time with the one they love.
"Sometimes, you are going to have good days, and then there will be the few times you don't have good days," said Katie Grove. "You hang in there. You stick it out."
For better or worse, in sickness and health, the Groves and the Johnsons are a real testament to the power of love.
